i-PRO reorganizes Americas business, names James Rothstein president & CEO

HOUSTON—i-PRO Co. has unveiled a new leadership structure for its Americas business, creating four dedicated Virtual Companies and appointing security industry veteran James Rothstein as president & CEO of i-PRO Americas, effective Nov. 1.

The move is designed to sharpen the company's focus on key market segments, increase specialization and position the region for continued growth.

i-PROUnder the new structure, i-PRO Americas will operate through four dedicated business units: i-PRO Edge Technology, Video Insight, i-PRO Public Safety and i-PRO Medical Vision of Americas. Each Virtual Company will have its own leadership and accountability, allowing the organization to better address the unique needs of its customer base while aligning resources around strategic growth opportunities.

Rothstein, who joined i-PRO in 2024 as global executive advisor and has served on the company's board since July 2025, will report directly to i-PRO Group President & CEO Masato Nakao.

A longtime security industry executive, Rothstein previously served as chairman of the Security Industry Association (SIA) board of directors and held leadership roles at Anixter International, where he oversaw the company's $2 billion global security and fire business. He also served as chief sales and marketing officer, executive vice president and principal at Tri-Ed Distribution before its acquisition by Anixter in 2015.

"The Americas is one of i-PRO's most important regions, and this new structure gives each of our businesses the dedicated leadership and focus it needs to grow," Nakao said. "James brings deep industry experience and market insight. Together with Masami, Nick and our teams across the region, I am confident i-PRO Americas is well positioned for its next phase of growth."

As part of the reorganization, current i-PRO Americas President Masami Eguchi will become president of the Video Insight Virtual Company, while Nick Toth, currently senior vice president of security, will take on the role of president of i-PRO Edge Technology. In that role, Toth will lead the company's efforts to expand its Edge AI business and related growth opportunities across the Americas.

The company said partner programs and agreements will remain unchanged, and channel partners, distributors and systems integrators should continue working with their existing i-PRO contacts. According to i-PRO, the new structure is intended to provide partners with more focused support, deeper market expertise and dedicated leadership across each business segment.

"Organizing around four Virtual Companies lets us bring sharper focus and deeper expertise to each market we serve," Rothstein said. "My first priority is to listen to our customers, partners and employees, and to build on the strong foundation our teams have created."
