Dynamark buys second monitoring center

HAGERSTOWN, Md.—Dynamark Security Centers in late September announced its purchase of Buckeye Protective Services, in Canton, Ohio, as a redundant central station to its monitoring center based here.
The deal was finalized on Sept. 20. In addition to the central station, all Buckeye employees are joining Dynamark, including 12 operators. Buckeye has more than 100 dealers.

CANTON, Ohio—Buckeye Protective Services, a monitoring, investigative and employment screening company based here, is creating a new division, under the name THE-Central Station, that will exclusively handle Buckeye's wholesale monitoring.Buckeye has hired a previous competitor and industry veteran, Jim Osborne, and his wife, Carrie Osborne, to spearhead THE-Central Station's dealer program.
