NAVCO introduces cloud-based surveillance service

ANAHEIM, Calif.—NAVCO, a national systems integrator that launched a DVR-rental program about four years ago, announced it's offering a new cloud-based surveillance service, called VideoMetriXs, based on the same concept. “It's like version 2.0. They don't own; they rent,” Jim Kauker, EVP of sales and marketing for NAVCO told Security Systems News. VideoMetriXs allows customers “an enterprise-grade security system” for a monthly fee of about $30 per month per camera....
