COPPELL, Texas—Global security company IDIS announced that its acquisition of electronic security products provider Costar Technologies has been completed.
IDIS and Costar have enjoyed a long-term existing ODM (original design manufacturer) relationship – approximately 60 percent of Costar Video products are already made by IDIS. COPPELL, Texas—Costar Technologies on June 4 announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire CohuHD, the cameraproducts and video solutions division of Cohu.
The purchase price for CohuHD, including potential earn-out payments, is expected to be $10 million in cash. The acquisition is structured as an asset purchase and is subject to customary closing conditions.
