Clear Watch launches dealer program aimed at expanding video monitoring RMR

BATON ROUGE, La.—Clear Watch has launched a national dealer program designed to help security dealers and integrators grow recurring monthly revenue (RMR) through artificial intelligence (AI)-powered remote video monitoring services layered onto existing camera installations.

The company said the program enables dealers to add monitoring services to customers' installed IP camera systems without replacing hardware, creating new RMR opportunities from cameras already in the field. The offering combines AI-based object and behavior detection, live operator intervention, voice-down deterrence and digital dispatch capabilities.

Clear Watch"Dealers keep telling us the same thing: their customers are asking for video, and guard services are pricing themselves out of the market," said Glen Carter, president of Clear Watch. "Our program lets a dealer walk into any account with cameras on the wall and walk out with new RMR."

According to Clear Watch, the platform uses AI to identify people, vehicles and other activities while filtering nuisance events before they reach operators. The company said the technology is designed to reduce false alarms and improve monitoring efficiency.

Clear Watch delivers its services through Clear Watch Central, the company's 24/7 monitoring center. Operations are powered by the DICE Corporation video monitoring platform, which manages event handling, operator workflows and dispatch operations.

"I've been doing video monitoring for a long time, and I've evaluated and worked with a lot of platforms over my career. DICE is in a class of its own," Carter said. "DICE has fundamentally lowered the cost of doing video monitoring with AI. The platform filters events so intelligently that our operators spend their time on real threats, not noise."

The dealer program is targeted at several commercial verticals, including auto dealerships, construction sites, multifamily properties, parking facilities, convenience stores, logistics yards and critical infrastructure locations.

Clear Watch said the launch reflects growing demand for proactive video monitoring and video-verified response as security providers seek new service offerings and law enforcement agencies increasingly prioritize verified incidents over unverified alarms.
