Telguard frees dealers from 2G obstacles

April 20, 2016Spencer Ives

Telguard recently announced its new Freedom program: providing dealers with funding and equipment for 2G conversions for a $9.95 monthly fee per 2G account. The sunset is an old topic, and Welsh said dealers have probably gotten a little fatigued hearing about it. He said that Telguard looked to why some dealers hadn't started. “What...

ISC West monitoring news

April 5, 2016Spencer Ives

I got to start the last day at the show by talking on camera with Bart Didden, president of the newly founded company SDN, Security Dealer Network. Didden, who created SDN as a separate entity to help dealers wanting the DragonFly DIY offering, said that discussions went well with dealers at the show. Dealers were able to sign up at ISC West. Martha's ISC West 2016 updates

April 5, 2016Martha Entwistle

After some pre-ISC West meetings, the first official event I attended at ISC West was the Market Leaders Reception at the Omnia at Caesar's. SSN was a sponsor of the event this year. Kudos to SIA on its choice of venue, a nice, open-air terrace. The event lived up to its name. The attendees were the leading manufacturers, integrators and consultants. Among the many folks I talked to was Kratos' Jim Henry, a loyal TechSec Solutions attendee, who had some (many) suggestions about adding a new element...

March 23, 2016Spencer Ives

Although it seems hard to believe, ISC West 2016 is fast approaching and now less than two weeks away. If your company has new developments with its monitoring center, or simply wants to tell me about your approach for the rest of 2016, feel free to reach out to me....
