DALLAS—The Electronic Security Association (ESA) has announced the election of Michael Barnes as treasurer and will serve as chairman of the ESA Finance Committee.

NEW YORK—Apollo Global Management is about to take one giant leap into security with its May 19 agreement to acquire Protection 1 and ASG Security.
